Decided to went around Puchong to look for some special food apart from hawker food.
this place caught my attention!
The old school.
Math & add maths were subjects that killed a lot of people.
Seeing those formulas on board made me go @.@ again.
As when I entered,
I thought it's some fast food restaurant with such layout as it doesn't feel like old school.
Turns out that the place was mini kitchen for their staffs to prepared drinks for their customers
and also to promote their special dishes in pictures to their customers. Not only that, their staffs were all dressed in uniforms to suit the theme of the cafe.
without wasting further of our time,
we requested the menu to decide what to order.
Bringing so much memories seeing this book!
Back to those days,
I would save up my money for lunch just to get many of this book to draw and play mini games with other friends.
Inner part of it,
bringing back some memories where in primary,
students always do biography for others to fill in and also fill in other's to compete who got most friends written in their own book. hahaha.
Anyway, their range of food provided are wide ranging from burger, noodles, rice to toasting.
The person who made this, really contributed so much to world of calculation.
It's still so useful even till now.
Their first signature dish.
Wondering what's so special about this dish right?
Take a look at the middle where there is two brown crunchy looking food,
Yeap, that's right! It's friend pork oil!
I've always heard of nasi lemak babi,
but this is the first time I've actually witnessed it.
The taste of nasi lemak was usual, not too spicy with the sambal at the side.
They have varies type of pork serving style and one of it is presented in above picture:
The taste was just average, tasted no different like beef rendang.
Their second signature dish,
"Old School" Grilled pork cutlet.
For those pork lovers who love eating in a way of half fats half tender,
you would love this pork cutlet as it is being served like that.
They have 1 CM thick layer of fats above of the meat.
Combination of both parts in each bite was perfect with those juices and grilled flavor of the tender meat flowing together. On top of that, vegetables served are fresh and the wedges are crispy with hot temperature.
Their third signature dish,
"Old school" Pork burger.
Portion served was average and normal,
having charcoal bun at top and above with the filling of
pineapple, cheese, pork minced and ham in between.
It didn't give an "BOMB" feeling after eating it.
So, I would considerate it as average.
