Pun Chun Noodle House @ Kota Kemuning

Back in Uni days,
where time was not so tied down,
I would go around to try some nice food.
One of the shop that make me unforgettable
is
this very Pun Chun Noodle house at Kota Kemuning.

How did I found this place again you say?
Very fortunate,
I have two friends and my uncle lives nearby this around.
On and off,
they would recommend this place to people when they ask what is there to eat in Kota Kemuning.

And there was one time after uni,
my friend brought me to the shop and try.
The feeling it gave me was,
" I couldn't find this else where and I have to order this place again next time!"

And today was the day,
where I happened to be around Kota Kemuning,
and this place came to my mind instantly.

Pun Chun Noodles House
It is at the corner lot of the the row. Apparently, back in those days where if there is a crave for duck noodles, you need to go all the way to Bidor which is about 2 hours drive from PJ.
Luckily, they have opened one of it in Kota Kemuning. Even though is far from PJ but at least is nearer than Bidor.

They have sufficient space, open & cooling environment, providing free wifi services, and best part is they don't allow people to smoke in the restaurant.
Further more,
they are very thoughtful as when the sun is too bright, they will pull down those installed wooden curtains around the shop,
which gives those customers in a more relaxing place to have their meal.

The first signature dish of their shop,
Wan Tan Mee
Their noodles are all handmade with the recipe passed on for 7 decades.
It is served with veges and also their Char Siew. From a bite of the Char Siew individually,
you can feel the roasted smell spreading in your month.
The taste was enhanced along with the next bite of noodles that comes in soft and bouncy.
In additional, they always put fresh veges where it doesn't taste bitter.

Of course, it comes with a bowl of soup with three Chinese dumplings ( Wan Tan).
One thing that surprised me is that,
usually the inner ingredients inserted are minced shrimps or pork
but
this is different where they put small sliced prawn
where you can actually bite it when you chew those dumplings.

Not forgetting,
Another of their signature dish,
Herbal duck drumstick.
Very specially presented in a traditional way of aluminium container.

Like this.
The meat of the duck is so soft & tender
while each bite of it could taste every bit of the aromatic herbal soup that sucked.
A meal like that could definitely make your day better.
Even though I have not tasted the taste in back all days where it started,
I could feel that even till now the recipe was well maintained and kept.

Everyday, the restaurant is full of people from different ages. It has became a common place of the local residences.

They don't only sell food but also snacks.
EG: Crispy or original chicken biscuits and shat kek ma.

Their name in chinese. I believe is from the old days. How historical.
