Purple Cane @ Paradigm Shopping Mall

I always heard from my parents that how delicious are the food from purple cane,
today finally decided to give it a try at the restaurant.

Purple Cane Tea Restaurant is a special restaurant that serves really healthy dishes,
they are the first fine dinning tea restaurant in Malaysia that infuses tea into every dish to bring out the best taste and aroma of food.
They mixed their dishes with healthy cooking techniques using
minimaloil, flavoring and seasoning.
Even though this restaurant serves only Chinese dishes, this is a Pork Free restaurant.
However, because there is alcohol served in some of their dishes, they do not have the Halal status

Purple Cane Tea Restaurant.
Apparently they have another shop below at LG that sells only tea and tea accessories.

The name of the restaurant in Chinese.

Front entrance of the place.

They have unique traditional Chinese design inspired
the classical colonial Nanyang style.

First dish,
Braised Homemade Beancurd with Mushroom.
Tea: Purple Tea.
Their bean curd is really really soft. It didn't taste like usual bean curd outside, as when you put the bean curd in your month, it feels a little melted due to it's smoothness in it. With the braised sauce, it has a thick flavor that perfectly enhance the overall taste.

Second dish,
Butter chicken
Tea: Long Tea
The taste of this is at average where their chicken is not too tender. Probably didn't cook too long? Plus when it's served, it was cold.
Apart from that, thankfully the butter sauce manage to bring some satisfaction out of it as it didn't give an impression of too bored if had too much.

Third dish,
Stir fried lady fingers with garlic.
Tea: Long Jing
As my parents are vegetarian, we told them to take off the shrimps when they usually have.
One special thing about this dish is that it's kind of sweet than usual and the lady finger served is fresh which could known by it's soft.

Forth dish,
Mixed vegetarian curry pot
Tea: Black tea
As typical Chinese, we always need some gravy to server with our rice and as always we can find comfort in a bowl of vegetarian curry. The specialty here is that you can avoid the high calories from coconut milk and yet enjoy the equally thick & creamy gravy. Honestly speaking, it tasted as though it has the fish head to cook with it. Good level of quality taste and spiciness.

The layout of the kitchen. They also sell teas at the right side of the picture.
They have a lady sitting at the wood table and chair prepare to serve and let customers to try their tea.

It's crowded even though it's 6.30pm. Beautiful authentic Chinese display & presentation.
