Restaurant Tau Hoo Lee @ Taman Malim Jaya, Malacca

Early in the morning,
arriving at 9 AM at my grandma's place.
As we were too hungry,
we decided to go straight to nearby restaurant to eat and fill up our stomach first.
It was a holiday therefore a lot of restaurants were closed that day.
While turning around, we saw this.

Restoran Tau Hoo Lee.
Having around 30 years of business history of generations from a small stall till one shop of its own then taking over the shop next to it.

The owner/ founder and also chef himself of the shop.

Husband & wife together.
So sweet.
Everything you can see here is all hand made, except for the noodles.
They are famous for their yong tou foo and their noodles.
And the best part is to maintain the equal quality of all dishes served, they will always prepare individually rather than in group basis.

If you choose to eat this place, minimum of 30 minutes of waiting is required. It is always crowded at this and the next shop. But there won't be trouble for grabbing seats as people will always eat quickly when the food arrives and leave the place upon finishing. Also, you can share tables with others if they have empty space to spare. Remember to order the drinks first, it will come to you real quick.

The dry kuey teow.
It may look simple and empty, but the taste is simply good with the combination of sesame oil and also fried onion. They also have dark thick sauce, chilli sauce, and even soya sauce at the side for you to add in case you prefer stronger taste.

Their side dish soup that comes with fish balls, Tauhu, fish cakes.
Everything here is homemade where you can taste the freshness & smoothness in it.
I would like to mentioned that due to crowded situation in the restaurant,
the amount and types of combination of it may be different from the one next to you.
As they have many customers, they don't have the time to keep track of the quantity & types given. This is the part where we need to tolerate about.
