Tony Roma's @ Sunway Pyramid

Me and my friend Yinam decided to have a good food day once a month to celebrate our payout, reward of previous hard work given out and serve as motivation for the upcoming weeks.

Haha we have hard time thinking where to eat as this is our first time and we are on budget. However. we choose to have our dinner in Tony Roma's as it's not a place we eat everyday and he had a crave for steak.

Tony Roma's with the waiter outside ( He looked stunned because I walked out and suddenly turned around and took picture) haha.

Waiter at the reception. I asked that may I take a picture, and he replied instantly and posed for me to take picture. How funny!

The bartender. Don't have interaction with him because I don't drink.

After choosing a place, we had a tough time choosing what to eat too because we couldn't decide what to eat.

Below are the menu for appetizers, soups, sides, main dishes.

Menu #1

Menu #2

Menu #3

He ordered one bottle because he suddenly had a urge to try it as he said he never try before. Missed an opportunity of him being the potential corona's ambassador! He only suggested to take a picture for him after him finishing it. haha.

This was served first with normal cut bread with garlic margarine.

Tada! The first recommended dish by the chef,
Roma’s Sampler.
It's a trio of appetizers – Potato skin, Spinach Artichoke Dip and their signature Half Onion Loaf matched with bleu cheese dressing, salsa and sour cream. Out of three, loved the potato skin the most. It's unique itself with crispy potato skins with cheese on top. The chicken was added with sour sauce. And the least favorite was the fried onion but it was beautifully presented.

I choose the
second dish recommended dish by the chef,
Chicken Alfredo Florentine
Grilled chicken brest, sun-dried tomatoes and fresh spinach tossed in a lemon alfredo sauce and served over linguine.Topped with shaved Asiago cheese and fresh chopped parsley.
In overall, it tasted like super creamy mushroom flavor, but very generous with the ingredients they have.

He choose the
third dish recommended dish by the chef,
oz. New York Strip
A heartier, leaner cut of beef with its own distinctive taste. Seasoned to perfection with Tony’s special seasoning. Adding with french fries and loaded mashed potatoes.
He went for medium rare, but turned out it went a little over medium. But the taste was strong as it's description. The french fries was hot & crunchy when served. The mashed potatoes was all mashed up even with the boiled skin. I wonder is it clean.

Total bill costed around RM18X for two.
We were both so bloated and felt a little too much of meat for tonight,
decided to go little light for the new few days.
