Recently there is one uprising shop in One Utama called Go Noodle House.
I've seen it in Jaya One few months back before,
but I don't know why I didn't went in to try.
Not wasting anymore opportunity,
I've decided to try it this time.
Went to One Utama's Branch to try out with few of my guy friends from office.
next to giordano new wing opposite oval.
The movement is always there, couldn't get a chance to take a clear human-less picture.
It took me at least half an hour of waiting to reach our turn.
Despite huge spacing inside,
it's still full all the time especially peak hours during lunch and dinner.
At the far end you could see red dots in colour,
those are wines that aged at least three years and are available for sale to be inserted into your bowl of noodles.
you can actually store it at the shop so that next time you can go over to use it in your dish.
Their interior designs are made in a way felt like back to those olden dynasty emperor era.
You could feel it the moment you go in.
This is their menu,
the design is the same like those booklets used in the olden days.
A quick briefing of how things work here,
you get to choose your noodles based on your type of noodles offered.
First decision to choose,
the type of noodles from their famous handmade Mi Xian rice noodles or regular bee hoon.
Second decision to choose,
the type of soup you want being the superior which is the normal soup or the spicy one.
Their cash counter and stored with bottles of wines below.
My first choice and the highlight of the restaurant.
The Bursting Pork Ball Noodle.
Have you tried the "Siu Long Bao" from Dragon-i?
where there is a pork ball with some home made sauce within the pork ball.
Once you've bitten it, the sauce will burst out in your month.
I've ordered the famous handmade Mi Xian rice noodles along.
Too smooth that you can suck one long noodle one shot.
The pork balls were fresh and flavourful.
Really worth the try if you want to try something new and delicious.
Sliced Pork Noodles.
Not only that they are famous with their busting pork ball,
they have a really good variety of toppings from pork balls to beef balls, fish slices to frogs,
and scallops to mussels!
You can choose to order it as a top up as a side dish or also could call it to be as your main dish,
They used the best part of the pork to be sliced.
However, the taste was just plain and okay.
Sliced Beef Noodles.
plus the beef taste was a little too strong.
Sliced Fish Meat Noodles.
The fish used was fresh, but the taste was just average too.
I would suggest to order the famous bursting pork noodles and get a top ups of those sliced pork, beef or even fish as side dishes.
With that, you could best of the bursting awesome ball and also the thick flavored soup.
if you're not a fan of soup,
you can always choose something dry.
They offered dry pan mees as well in the shop.
It was recommended by the waiter.
They prepared it in a nice mixture of the dark sauce for the pan mee.
And I noticed that a lot of people ordered it as well.
They are very considerate where they would separate all the side dishes at the side so customers would mix in their pan mee according to their usuals.
They have soup, fried onions, fried shrimps and also marinated minced pork.
It might be a little salty for some individuals,
make sure you try a little first before mixing.
